Appointment Guidelines
In order to insure quality orthodontic care, it is imperative that our parents and patients understand the manner in which we schedule our appointments. Our doctors will be seeing you approximately every six to eight weeks for your appointments.
We value your time and make every effort to stay on or ahead of schedule. Please help us by arriving five minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. We will call you before your diagnostic records appointment to see if you have any questions. Thereafter, your appointment card will serve as your reminder for future appointments.
Long Appointments
We realize that after school is a more convenient time for most patients, however, longer appointments and repair appointments are scheduled during school or work hours, between 8:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. We have arranged our schedule this way so that we may accommodate many of your short appointments after school.
Short Appointments
Shorter appointments, such as visits for wire activation or retainer check, can usually be scheduled early in the morning, after (starting at 2:00 P.M.) or during school hours.
Rescheduling Appointments
All failed appointments must be rescheduled as soon as the office schedule allows. We are always moving teeth as efficiently as possible, and these force systems need to be monitored regularly. Since our "after school" appointments are usually booked six to eight weeks in advance, it will probably be necessary to reschedule the missed appointments during school.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
